No Ifs, Ands, or Buts

Hi!
I've been thinking a lot about prosperity lately. I am currently working with a book that I highly recommend, "The Abundance Book" by John Randolph Price. If you have not had a chance to play with this book, I encourage you to check it out!
In this book, Price has created a 40-day affirmation program to help you understand prosperity consciousness from a spiritual perspective. It is a powerful way to help you bust through limiting paradigms that may be keeping you from magnetizing to yourself all the abundance that you deserve.
You DESERVE to be abundant.
Isn't that an incredible statement?
Wow!
It is so interesting to me that many of us struggle with this idea. We deserve to have all the money we need and desire. We deserve to be loved completely. We deserve to have the work we love. We deserve to have friends who inspire, support and excite us. We deserve to live in a place we love.
Money is a big issue. It has a lot of emotional charge surrounding it. I see so many of my clients struggle with money. We let money have so much power over our lives. How many times have you put off your heart's desire because of your fear of money? Try this exercise. Get out a piece of paper and a pen. Now, go back and reread the last few paragraphs that I have written. Let the words sink in for a minute. Now write down the thoughts in your head.
Here are a few things that popped into my consciousness as I wrote this: 1. Sure, I deserve to be abundant, but I have to WORK HARD in order to have it in my life. 2. Yes, I can be loved but being in a relationship takes a lot of WORK! 3. Yes, I can do the work I love, but can I really make money at it? 4. Yes, I can have great friends but when am I going to have time to spend with them? I am too busy working. 5. Yes, I can live in a place I love, but can I afford to? 6. Okay, let's get practical here. Sometimes you just have to do your work, whether you like it or not, and make money to pay your bills.
What kinds of thoughts did you come up with?
Were you surprised by your beliefs?
What would happen to your life if you could remove those beliefs from your consciousness permanently?
It is Universal Law that our belief system will manifest in our reality instantly. What you believe, without limitation, comes true. If you believe that you can easily make a lot of money and you have NO DOUBT that this is true, then it is Law that you will easily make a lot of money. Instantly.
Of course, the big issue here is limitation and doubt. I used to really be into affirmations. I would write dozens of them every day. Affirmations are good tools to help you get clear about what you want in your life, but you will only manifest as far as your belief system will let you.
So, for example, let's say you are affirming that you now work 3 days a week and make $250,000.00 a year. It is completely possible to do this. There are many people on this planet who do this all the time. But, if your underlying belief is that this is impossible for you then it will never happen for you.
I like to call the underlying beliefs your "Yes, Buts". A "Yes, But" is the underlying belief that pops up when you try to affirm something that you have doubts about. Read the following statements and write down your "Yes, Buts" that creep into your mind. Pay attention to where you feel these limiting beliefs in your body.
I can make all the money I need doing the work I love. I can do the work I love. I can do the work I love and still have time for fun. I can live where I want and have the money and the time to enjoy it. I can have all the love I want in my life. I can have all the time I want in my life.
Were you surprised by your reactions?
Did you feel any resistance in your body?
Our minds are powerful tools. I like to think of the mind as being a magic wand. What we think with our minds is what we end up creating in our lives. All things start in the mind. Look at your life right now. How many things have you created in your life that started a long time ago as just an idea?
A few weeks ago I was looking for a book on my bookshelf when an old journal from about six years ago caught my attention. I pulled it out and started flipping through it. I was very shocked to find that ALL the desires that I had so systematically listed in my journal had now come true. It took a few years, but they all came true!
How many things in your life right now are dreams that you brought forth into reality? How long did it take you to make your dreams come true? The Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) has been a powerful tool for me to help me blast through my "Yes, Buts". Using EFT has helped me get past my limiting beliefs so that I can bring my dreams into form at a much faster rate. The more I remove my perceived limitations out of the way, the quicker things manifest. (For more information about EFT click here: http://www.joyfulmission.com/joyful_mission_000019.htm )
It is kind of like being a magician. I use the magic wand in my mind, tap with EFT on my limiting beliefs and "poof" my reality changes! It truly can be that simple.
But, you have to be willing to dig in and pull out your limiting beliefs. Sometimes it takes great emotional detective work. And, truthfully, sometimes you have to be willing to believe in something that perhaps the people around you might think is just plain nuts!
The more you move your perceived limitations out of the way, the faster things can come to you.
Are you ready to bust through your "Yes, Buts" and allow for the abundance that you DESERVE? Are you ready to change your reality?
If you answer is "yes", then I invite you to join me for my new teleclass, "Prosperity Boot Camp". During this four-part teleclass we will be tackling limiting beliefs about abundance and installing new beliefs that can help you create the prosperity you deserve!
