Day Four of the Prosperity Revolution

DAY 4 1. Read the Abundance Manifesto out loud and with feeling! 2. Make a deposit to your Personal Prosperity Account. 3. Daily Abundance Activity: There are only two kinds of emotions, ones that feel good and ones that don’t feel good. Or, stated in a different way, there are feelings that feel good and feelings that feel bad. Both kinds of feelings are essential to our well being, for they tell us where we are in relation to where we want to be. Energetically, we are hard-wired to feel good when we are where we want to be. Happiness and joy are our natural emotional states. When you are pursuing your desires in an unlimited way, you will experience good feelings. You will be in a joyful state. In other words, when you know what you want, believe without a doubt that you can have what you want and you are taking deliberate actions to create what you want, you feel good. Your emotions are your inner navigational system. How you feel at any given point in time indicates how close you are to believing that you can actually have what it is you desire. For example, let’s say that you want a new, expensive car. In your mind you know exactly what kind of car you want, what color, the style of interior and the model. Every time you think about this car or every time you see one of those cars on the road, you notice the car, but seeing it makes you feel sad and frustrated. You feel sad and frustrated because you believe that, although you really like this car, you’ll never have one of your own because you will never be able to afford one. Or that people like you don’t drive cars like that. Or whatever limiting belief you may be experiencing… Sadness and frustration can be characterized as negative or bad feelings. When you are experiencing sadness and frustration (or any other emotions that don’t feel good) your emotional navigation system is telling you that something you are thinking about or doing is out of alignment with your desire. In other words, you want the car, but you don’t believe you can have it. Anytime you experience negative feelings, they are communicating to you that what you are thinking about or what you are doing is blocking you from creating what you really want. The stronger the feelings, the deeper the resistance you have to your desire. Today I want you to learn to listen to your emotional navigation system. I want you to pay attention to your dreams and how they make you feel. Reread your dream story that you wrote yesterday. With a red pen or pencil write how each part of the statement makes you feel and why you think you feel that way. Here is an example: It is 5:00 in the morning on Friday, September 16, 2005. (Sad and frustrated. I’ll never have the money for a new house by that date). My room is dark and the house is still. My children are all still asleep. I love the gentle quiet of the morning (Exhausted and sad. I am always too tired to get up in the morning. How am I ever going to get the time to take care of myself or be disciplined enough to get up early. I’ve never been successful at any kind of discipline before.). I go downstairs and get a cup of steaming hot espresso coffee from my new Starbucks thermos coffee maker. I take my delicious coffee back up to my bedroom and start my day in my brand new house. I love this house. It is big and old and filled with rich character. I love the way my room is upstairs, quiet and free from the chaos downstairs. I love that the kids have so much room to play and have friends over and that the house is always filled with the laughter and sounds of kids (Sad because, although I love the idea of having lots of kids at my house, I wonder how am I going to feed them all? And is it possible for us to have enough room for my son’s teenage friends to feel comfortable in our house. Can I really afford a house big enough for all of us?) The purpose of this exercise is NOT to make you feel bad or to encourage you to focus on your negative feelings. The purpose of this exercise is to help you identify where you may have limiting beliefs. We will be addressing many ways to help you modify and eliminate limiting beliefs as your prosperity revolution continues. But for today use EFT to tap on any of your resistant beliefs related to your dreams. Here are some sample setups from the dream example: Even though I don’t believe that I will have the money to buy the house, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. Even though I don’t believe that I have enough time to take care of myself, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. Even though I don’t believe that I can ever be disciplined, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. Even though I’m frustrated that I’ll never have enough money to take care of myself and my children the way I want to, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. 4. List your 5 successes! 5. Your EFT setup for today is: Even though in the past I believed that I couldn’t have everything I want in life, I now choose to know that all I have to do is dream, believe and take action and it is easy for me to create everything I want and more!
